🥰 This is my second visit to this Courtyard hotel. Driving here at a leisurely pace, though not located in a bustling area, it feels exceptionally quiet—perfect for slowing down life's tempo on weekends. ✅ This time I booked a Deluxe King Room, with the same familiar color scheme and layout. Those two uniquely shaped bridges outside the window are still there, and the distant China Zun Tower faintly visible, like an understated urban backdrop. Standing by the floor-to-ceiling window, I zoned out for a while and suddenly realized—some places are just meant for "coming back to." 🍰 In the afternoon, I ordered afternoon tea at the lobby lounge. The iconic three-tier dessert tower was as photogenic as ever. Though not abundant, the desserts were thoughtfully arranged—sweet and savory alternating, delicate without being cloying. That round white mousse was the most delightful, somewhat resembling the soft, cute acorn mascot in the corner, instantly relaxing just by looking at it. 🎾 After eating, I played a round of pickleball—perfect post-meal activity. The hotel has a grass court and equipment; even casually swinging alone felt freeing. Working up a sweat cleared my mind, reminding me that exercise doesn't have to be intense—sometimes gentler is more comfortable. 🍔 Didn't go out for dinner, just ordered a cheeseburger at the lobby lounge. The beef was juicy and substantial, the cheese rich, paired with fries—it exceeded expectations. Meant to just fill my stomach, but it turned out to be today's most satisfying meal. ❤️ Didn't pack the schedule or plan to "check in" anywhere. The whole weekend was relaxed—a quiet room, a thoughtfully prepared meal, effortless exercise, and that blank space by the window at dusk. These little fragments, pieced together, were enough to settle me down. There are many ways to enjoy weekends. For me, it's about turning life's volume down a little, leaving some time for myself, slowing the pace—that's enough.
