Temple of Heaven in Beijing

This is one of the places that impressed us the most during our trip to China. It is an ancient site where emperors performed rituals to worship heaven in the olden days. The most striking structure is the circular blue building, which is both beautiful and majestic. Especially when sunlight hits the roof, it creates a shimmering effect that cameras can hardly capture in its entirety. Walking around, you can truly feel the dedication and meticulous craftsmanship of people from the past. We also loved the surrounding area, filled with large trees that make strolling around peaceful and relaxing. The air is fresh, and the atmosphere is simply delightful. If we ever get the chance to visit Beijing again, we would definitely want to come back and enjoy a walk here once more. :-)
